September Literary Mix:

4th:   Newspaper Carrier Day.  If you have a person who delivers a newspaper to your home,
            thank him or her.  Now create you own newspaper and share it with people in your community.
5th:   International Day of Charity.  
6th:   Read a Book Day.  Read “My Caribbean Grandma,” and a few other books of your choice.
8th:   National Grandparents Day in US.  Read book “My Caribbean Grandma.”
16th:  Collect Rocks Day.  Collect as many different rocks as you can and create an art piece for the ages. 
21st:   International Day of Peace.  Create your own “Peace Sign” and display in your community. 
23rd:  First Day of Autumn.  What are you looking forward to?  Make you list and share with a friend. 
23rd:  International  Day of Sign Languages. If you don’t already know how,  learn how to
             communicate a few words using sigh language today.
